another thing women bring, not only to cars, CUSHIONS.
Can anyone shed any light into what use cushions are for?? settes are padded, car seats are padded, i dont get it.
BTW grats on getting your car to yourself

No probs with swmbo using my scooby,,
after all she did allow me unlimited access to her gti,,and after having an off in it too!!
it also helps as she puts the old motion lotion in it
biggest rant she lifts the seat when she drives..
but in all fairness i move her seat forward when i drive hers

Already had that base covered, got her a nice little Escort with PAS/CL/EW/ sunroof cd player and a great big FOREST emblem in the back window, she loves it,cost bugger all to run/insure and tax then i went out and brought my scooby, added some 17's new exhaust, cd player, rear spoiler is on the way thanks to Diva.

Steps that I have taken...
Bought PTMW! & it was our only car. Wife drove it sometimes...
We moved house but needed to commute 65 miles & I didn't want the mileage on the car, so...
Bought a diesel Vectra & PTMW! stayed in the garage
Wife got job 35 miles in the opposite direction
Rode bike for 6 months & 12,000 miles so that she would drive the Vectra only...
Coming to winter, so didn't want to be riding in minus & snow/rain etc
Arranged that wife had a brand new Mini Cooper (2 months after release) on the basis that PTMW! stayed in the garage, I used the Vectra & sold the bike...
B**** still made me sell the bike a year later
Unfortunately, due to leaving my last job & being un-employed, sold the Vectra, but now employed, have to commute in PTMW! Racked up 20K miles in 8 months
BUT
I'm the one that drives PTMW! all the time - not her
The only time she's driven PTMW! in the last 2 yrs is 30 mins on Essex Police skid-pan the other day
This ideal has also given rise to associated dramas - see "Came Home & Found Some B@rstard Had Sh@gged My Wife!" & for interest The Revenge

You are right Fitzscoob, perfectly comfortable bucket seat and it is filled with cushions. And the seat is put right forwards, never mind the fact it puts her closer to the accident! I suppose I just have to be grateful that she cant drive.

Nic's told me that the only way she'll consider staying out of the Scoob is if I buy her a Honda S2000!
I'm working on trying to get the S2000 for my daily commute - it is better on fuel than the Scoob...

I don't like my husband driving my scoob - I had to let him drive it to Power Engineering Saturday, I was a nervous wreck all the way there - needless to say I drove it back
