Seems to be alot of scoobs taken reasently but what can we do?

There seems to be an increase latley on scoobs being taken by the theifing scumbag community of this world, they are prepared to do almost anything to get hold of our hard earned investments the things that some of us will work our ar$e off to keep on the road, to some people there scoobs are the only good things they have in there lifes.
A friend of mine has lost 2 scoobs now to the bar stewards, his insurance company has basically made sure he won't be getting another!!! :/
but what can we do... how can we stop this ???
Theifs seem know how to get past the best of security systems including detecting and locating trackers by using some kind of radio device. And if thats too hard then they will just take our keys by invading our land & castles
This results in high insurance costs for everyone, is there anything we can do apart from pleed with the goverment (that don't seem to give a ****) to make tougher sentences, hmm maybe cut a off a finger or two , would make them think twice.
Car jacking also seems to be on the rise, instead of the scooby community doing group buys on ppp, how about doing group buys on guns and ammo ?? , well maybe i'm too harsh.........
any other ideas deeply appriciated

If they want it they will get it, a Jurno had an RS4 at there UK release (Audi Press Car) taken from his drive (it was hidden behind shrubs etc and could not be seen without being on his drive) they kicked the door to his house in; dressed in SAS head gear; but luckily they found the keys downstairs, dread to think what they would have done if they hadnt found them, he had his wife and kiddies upstairs with him at the time.
Audi also had a pre production RS4 stolen from a car transporter as it was being unloaded for a german car show. (driver left it unattended with keys in it hehehe)

can anyone explain how the blackjax system works. i think its where u have to type in a code otherwise the car shuts down about 500 yards down the road??? dont know how accurate that was, but if thats the case, then aren't the @rseh0les gonna end up writing off your motor??
i mean if they did, but ended up killing themselves in the process, i think i will settle for that and may have to get 1 too.

Theres loads on blackjax on the web including the full owners manual
http://www.clifford.com/guides/ogs/blackjax4_owners.pdf
looks good just as long as the scumbags dont realise whats going on and decide to coast into a wall or set fire to the car before they run off.
i wonder if systems like this will lead to kidnappings?

No matter what you do if they want ure car bad enough they will take it. I dont take any chances, never leave my car parked anywhere, always in a locked and alarmed garage at night, doors always locked when i have to drive through dogy areas, baseball bat under passenger seat just incase (and baseball so cops cant say anything), already have tinted windows.....i can do all this because i have a second ****ty car that i use on a daily basis, there is no way i'm letting my scooby get nicked after spending so much money on it.....so in my opinion dont take any chances.

Leave the doors open and keys in saves them damaging your front door and disturbing your sleep

No car is worth pain and greif If stopped, let them take it and Blackjack..........Hmmmmmmmmmm I'd like them to get a lot farther away before it conks out...... don't won't them to come back chasing after me

rgds Alarms, the company who tinted my windows also do alarms and there's 1 on the market, dunno what its called forgot now...anyway when ur car is nicked it sends a text to ur mobile alerting you, when you receive this text you can send 1 back which shuts down the engine effectivly immobilising it.
Therefore the w**kers that nicked it will be fcuked as they won't beable to restart the car.

I'm interested in the comment with regard to trackers being traced with scanners. Is this why insurance companies are going for horizon rather than retrieve?
(lets not discuss the details of how you would actually discover the bug - which wouldn't be that hard to do)

Get a couple of neighbours to help you roll the car onto its roof every night, then back again in the morning. That's what I do. Seems to keep the b*ggers off.
Seriously though, insure your no claims & forget about it. If someone desperately wants to nick your car they will. There's no point worrying about it. If you wire it to the mains you'll only get sued!
