Daz I dont honestly know the size but it filled the whole gap top to bottom. It was just a square(ish) front plate. The garage actually fitted it for me after seeing one on their demo car. It was a private plate and I didnt know until I came to sell the car and remove the plate. It had rubbed the lower plastic lower lip of the bumper and left a line.

I think the problem was that it bent in the wind and pushed onto the lip. The only way I thought was to fit some of the clear protective tape (the stuff the put of bonnets to stop stone chips) to stop it but even that could may leave a mark I guess.

I think one or two other people have had the same problem but other havent so it may all be in the fitting.

The other thing I thought was to use those double side numberplate fixing pads on the lip to hold the plate away, again I dont know what sort of mess they might leave. Decided not to fit one to my import just in case. They do look good though.

If you go through fancyplates.com they give you the option of making your own size or they have the square plate which you can just select

I had a full size one and never again, mine rubbed the bottom lip of the bumper and made a right mess.

I personally think they look terrible...

Go for a smaller normal plate.... cut each ends down and perhaps go for a slightly smaller font.... as long as it is only just smaller, police shouldn't trouble you.

Or go for your square one and block the air to your radiator!
