Which car next?

O.K,
I'm going mad, I can't decide on which car I want next. The criteria:-
1. It needs to be able to seat 4 adults (so no 2 seaters)
2. It needs to be quicker than my current car - Integra Type R
3. It needs to be a good drivers car, plenty of feeback etc...(this is the tough one as the Integra is a great drivers car, I really feel connected, it's just not fast enough).
4. Within £16K
5. Not too keen on RWD as I can't put the power down in the wet and hold on to it.
Considering a Sti-6 type R or RA vairant, had and EVO6 but don't want one again (great pointy steering)...
What to you guys recommend.

Looking for a car to a similar spec as well, but the EVO VI is top of my list at the moment...
How about a Nissan Skyline GTR R33? As I'm sure you know, they are very highly rated drivers cars and in one test I've got in Autocar (against a 22B, Carrera and EVO V) it was said to have one of the best steering setups on any car in the world for feel and accuracy.
Have posted the same reply in Other Marques.

Nope,
Audi's and BMW's don't float my boat, had an A$ for 4 months and it was one of the most boring cars I've driven, I'm sure the S4 would be different but a little too big.

Scoobysnacks,
I've had an EVO6 and it was a very fast car, however I just didn't gel with it, I had it in winter and had a couple of probs which were sorted under warranty but I didn't warm to it.
I certainly wouldn't go for a skyline, I find them far too big, I see them a more of a grand tourer than a UK B-roads chuckabout. That's why I love my Teg, it's great on the tight country roads but just lacks that ultimate power.

2 cars well inside your budget are :-
Escort Cosworth (i know its a ford, but still a great motor)
Lancia Delta Intergrale Evo (a little old but tend to have been well looked after plus you could get something else as well for the boring stuff!)
Just my 2p worth!!!!!!!

Couldn't have a BMW, just now me, Had an Integrale years ago and my god it cost me the earth to keep it maintained, it was an 8 Valve and I did buy a dog from a dodgy dealer so it serves me right.
I would love an EVO2 Integrale but with it being LHD you just can't drive into the tighter corners with the same conviction. I might consider the Sti6 Type R or RA, the wife loves them more than my old EVO.
