Right, bear with me on this, it's a long one.

A few weeks ago I got a reminder through to say my tax was about to expire, so last week i went to the Post Office, and paid for 6mths tax.

But, when replacing the disc, i noticed that my tax actually ran out at the end of May, but the new disc is dated 12/03. Which is 6mnths from now.

So, on checking the new tax disc, i noticed that the Post Office, has put "FORD" in the vehicle section, not Subaru.

Now, 2 months ago, i sold my Cossie, and transferred the plate to the Scoob. So obviously the reminder must've been for the cossie, not the scoob, and myself and the PO have missed this.


I have paid for the road tax, but i now assume DVLA will think the scoob is untaxed, (according to their records) and if i get seen with the tax disc on the car, the police/traffic warden, will presume it's fake/stolen, and i'll get shopped.

So what do i do now ?

You send off for a refund on the Ford tax disc (get form from the post office)

Apply for a new tax disc for the scoob. Using the V5 and the form from the post office.
