Is it worth an interim service?

Off to south of france in my Scoobs. Half way through service interval and i'll be doing say 2500 miles.
Is it worth doing the next service - or an "interim"
What would i need to do for an "interim"??
Any ideas on Morettes (on an MY01 WRX bugeye) - is there a kit to adjust the lights to driving on the right?

I am all for more frequent interims ( just oil and oil filter really) but only if they are going to be done properly (big thread in drivetrain about it..filling oil filter eg before fitting).
Are you on the MY01+ 1year/10k mile schedule? And did you use semi or fully synth on the last service?
Re morretts..I couldn't fit anything to mine when I took it out a couple years ago..had a 'universal' adjustment kit in the car just in case anyone stopped me. Did all my driving during the day anyway LOL
