My03 or not
#1
Enquired about a new My03 STi, trading my STi7 Feb 02 51 plater.
Price to change is acceptable, not great, but not awful(7k), new car delivery for Sep01st, making mine 18 months old when changing.
Question is, is it worth it?

I'd stick with what you've got. Wait until the change is bigger. Next year, there'll be something you'd rather have over the STi8. Just my opinion though, and if you're a multi-millionaire you might not give a damn.

Have you test driven the STi8? I tried one (with PPP), didn't like the scoop (ugly & flapped about alarmingly at 100 mph) & found the low speed ride dreadful. I also did not like the seats. I thought therefore I'd keep (& mod) my fugly wagon.
I then tried a low mileage PPP'd STI7 Prodrive with all the extras you would want/need & thought it was fantastic!! I saved loads of cash vs a new STI8 with similar spec & contrary to many opinions on here I think the 7 is a better car.........
If you have driven the STI8, like it, & have the cash then go for it!! I personally would wait.............
