It's the same old story....................
NBO attendee: This is great! When is the next one?
Scot's guy/bloke/burd: We're thinking of organising one in Scotland.
NBO attendee: WOW that's great! Put me down for that! It'll be supa dupa hunky dorey of a day! Can't wait!
Obviously, this might/might not have been a scenario at the NBO. So anyone wanting to jump on the band wagon to flame me, don't bother.

i didn't go to the northern big one, haven't been to anything like it. thought about getting a whole load of scoobies together to end the summer with and decided scotland (as it's where i live-scenery's nice) would be good to hold it in. it just so happen's that the nbo is just the same idea. heard a lot of scoob's turned out for it, thought we could do the same. put it on the scottish forum and got a good response. i'm sorry you don't feel the same as we do about it( meaning those who have responded to it with the hope of it going ahead), but we thought that if we were going to make it big, invite everyone and anyone to it, including those of you who live else where in the uk. i felt it rude not to. if no-one else is interested then fine. we keep it small and have a good laugh anyway. i have only been on sc net for a while now, but never seen anything like this idea other than nbo. i intend to do anything i can do to make this meet work and those who have supported me in what i suggested, i expect , will do too.

You have got it all wrong mate. I did attend the NBO and really loved it. I also live in Scotland which I'm proud of and would like to have an event up here. I fully support in what you and other Scoobynetters are planning/trying to do.
I posted my reply in the General Section because I felt you didn't get much of a reply/response to the topic. The intention of my post was to let you know how difficult it would be to organise.
Like I said, I was at the NBO and I did speak to a lot of Southerners about having an event in Scotland. They all agreed totally and wanted to know when/where. But where are they now? Do you see what I'm getting at?

I would be up for that imagine how many we could get down here there are s**t loads of scoobs.
I can't believe no one has thought of this before. Maybe the northern lot and southern lot can meet in the middle and take the country by storm.
