!!!! bit pricey, seen similar versions on ebay for between 5-10 quid

I would imagine that they would restrict the airflow a bit more than usual

and they still got holes, so little stones etc will still get in

its a trade off, protect the fins from normally wear and tear or reduced airfrlow to the intercooler.

i'd personally have more air flow

I had one for a while, but was advised (by a well known tuning outfit) to remove it 'cos it blocked airflow too much. If your intercooler fins get bent they're easy enough to straighten with a pair of thin, long-nose pliers or a toothpick (apparently!).

I got one from ebay for 30 quid(you know what bidding is like!Someone lucky must have got it for less another time).Quality was not as good as what Monstermunch is showing here. But it is protective enough and does a good job.No stonechips etc hurt my intercooler anymore.the gaps in the mash of the protecter are spaced enough not to restrict any airflow.

Well, measure the wire thickness and then the number of wires, do some maths and you can come out with anything between 10 - 20 % reduction in airflow.

I know what I'd rather have

Cheers
