You won £1 million on the Premium Bonds??
I ask because I have won this month - NOT the BIG one!! - so went and bought myself a radio Controlled SpeedBoat .... brilliant fun!!
I also won last month too!! ERNIE has been very kind to me - should I expect to win EVERY month with £30,000 worth??
Should I buy £30,000 for the wife too to DOUBLE our chances??
Its the £1 million I am chasing and want to get in before EVERYONE piles in with their £30k's!!
Pete
PS - I would keep my Scoobie AND my other cars ... maybe add an Aston??

Yup - £25k and upwards you may get a win every month or two months (my parents do) - they make more money (it's tax free) than any other low risk investment.
Would I still have a scoob - nah, not unless it was the worlds fastest scoob
Nice 911 GT for doing the shopping, maybe something outrageous for trackday use also.

No way would I buy a scoob again, even though I do sometimes miss mine.
Bought an '02WRX as it gave the best "bang for the buck" or so I thought
Then I had to spend another £8k to have the poor brakes/performance/handling and styling sorted out!
Had it for just over a year then got bored with it so I sold it. Now driving a 4x4 jeep untill the 996 arrives

come on guys (i would still have the bentley and driver for those lazy days)
i did'nt buy the scooby for its looks, build quality and paint finish
I got it for what it represents A Rally Car! and with that in mind i would still get the WRC (and be 1/4 mil lighter in my wallet).
so let me have a little think WRC Scoob Vs 911 turbo (nuff said)

Like Steve001's idea... but why stop there?
As your support crew they could be waiting for you to arrive at the end of a stage e.g. when you arrive at Tescos or back home.
While your doing your shopping or knocking back a beer they could be replacing the engine for you with a new one or removing the door dings you got at Tesco by replacing the entire panel...
......A new set of tyres for every journey
......someone in the passenger seat to tell you the way wherever you go. Forget GPS!
...... and noone would get mad at you if you keep driving after losing a wheel down a pothole.
I suspect your million wouldn't last very long though......

Thats it DrNick you got the idea..
and the other great thing is that your mechanics would get the WHOLE car sorted for the next trip in less that half an hour!
<dealers take note > 2 hours for a 1,000 mile oil change Tut Tut

damn right! sell the rb5, buy a 22b and take a trip down to prodrive and tell them to "tinker" with it. they would put their £25,000 gearbox in it, strip the interior...
oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! don't get me started, i'm away!
