Top gear reviewed the P1 and Delfino tonight. On the whole a pretty fair review of the P1 I think, makes a change from the autocar one anyway and not a hint of 'too much understeer' from Tiff. One of the better TG's.

Of course they had a shoot out on a rally stage with an Evo6. In the end I think the difference is down to the driver. It really was that close.

Yep one of the better Top Gears I've seen of late, they just love the evo don't they ... at least the white won't show the damage from the flying stones on the stage at Donno like the P1 must have done

VBH at her best tonite me thinks....

yep good show

The P1 looked gorgeous !!

on the rally stage did everyone think the P1 was been driven round really slowly it nearly stoped a few times !!

Tiff was giving the Evo big big licks !!

Once again VBH looked good enough to eat !!

Yep, and they didnt swap cars at the end and go round again just to rule out a driver problem, Tiffany probably has more insurance cover

I don't think that we can draw any serious conclusions as to whether the Evo or the P1 was fastest (BBC journalistic licence) - at least there was no BMW!!

Oh, and it was good to see a Cosworth engine being put to good use (in the Suzy)

Can someone invite VBH to the Northern (3) Meet please?

Yep VBH was definitely not pushing it, especially the half hearted handbrake turn on the hairpin!

Mind you, who cares when she talks like that!

Yep, get her to the next track day and let her to show us her stuff!

Grrrrr!

It WAS a great episode this week. but...

Obviously don't draw ANY conclusions from the "race" round the silverstone sprint circuit.

For a start off they were both driving sooooo slowly, a proper driver would be going at least 50% quicker. Secondly the bits we saw would have been made up from the best shots of 100s of takes. So there was no real race going on. They just created the finish to display what they consider to be the better car, beating the runner up.

I can't tell you which would actually be quickest, but at NO point on ANY of the clips were either of the cars even approaching the limit.

Good crack though

Delfino looked stunning.

Did we all notice the 2000 skid marks in the car park where Miss Dell powerslide. They must have already been there

Cheers

Simon

Nice to see Top Gear didn't have any problems with their P1 delivery. Oh god -sorry back on that thread again. Getting paranoid, time for bed.

Thumbs down

Anyone know what happened to the scheduled repeat on BBC Choice at 10pm?

They mysteriously pulled it without explanation and without even mentioning it by name.

P1? Err isn't that a WRX STi version with some Prodrive badges, and official UK marketing hype?

Oh - nearly forgot and a few thousand extra on the price.

Bargain.

With many of you into modifying your motors - it would be good if Subaru did a "cheaper" stripped out version, just like the Evo 6 RS.

Cool

I was lucky enough to do the Airfield Day with TG and VBH a few weeks back, we were all mildly impressed with her driving skills getting the back end out on the Mondeo, until she got out of the car wearing high heel boots - we just looked down at our race boots in shame!

Hmm there I was getting the video ready to tape Top Gear just in case they had something interesting on and someone decided that they would ring me, when what's that that saucy little minx (VBH) is wandering out in front isn't that an...f*** hit record ... got it, I hope!

Perma grin on for a full half hour, as if P1 wasn't enough they throw in the dolphin for good measure f***ing A man

Sorry, pardon my language, best bit of telly I've seen in ages

I wish Vics would stroke more things like she did that Festa dash...ohh I feel all unnecessary...

Just watched TG on video ( been down pub )
and yes it was one of the better shows.
Have to agree VBH was driving rather slowly,
but the P1 looked great. VBH wasn't bad either!!

Wink

Even my wife picked up on the 'don't Top Gear love the Evo' theme and commented on it.

Mr Russian I have it on tape. If you work in London I'll take it into work for you next week. I'm in Picadilly over Tower records.

Same review in the Top Gear mag (may issue). Not as Evo biased as the TV show (except for Tiff's comments).

No pictures of VBH

The P1 bit was on Top Gear GTi on Saturday evening. If they run true to form it will be on again at 23:00 tonight.
Get those videos going.

Last weeks was the best though:

Vicki asking Steve if she could get her leg over.

Personally

VBH and the other female get right on my t1ts. Not that I'm against a female presenter, not at all I just think that they both spout public school girl pants.

I also think that VBH has a face like a blind cobblers thumb, the other one is mightyyyyy fine though.

I do think VBH is tasty, though i have to admit I prefer Kate Humble (flame suit on).

Especially after seeing her 'swimsuited' on a holiday programme the other week, (can't remember which one).

My dream woman is Bella Emberg though
