I wonder how similiar this is to the Haines Coffee Table Book,
"You & Your Subaru Impreza Turbo" by Chris Rees.
A link to the new book on Amazon (etc) would be useful.
Hint Hint.

There is a chapter listing on http://www.iwoc.co.uk/books.html and a review will follow as soon as it is published... hence the reason Amazon are showing it 4-6 weeks away. This is also why the price is currently £20.99 from Amazon rather than the full price of £29.99. It will inevitably be compared with the Haynes "You and Your..." but that book is currently £12.59 on Amazon so everything has to be taken in perspective.

Have Haynes style book - Excellent pressie for the arrival of my new baby
Even ScoobyNet gets a mention at the back under clubs.
Only one small chapter on MY01-MY02 since it was just launched before book publication, nothing on MY03. Contains lots of links and usefull numbers.
see here for information.
Cheers

I have added a full review of the Brian Long book on
http://www.iwoc.co.uk/books.html
along with a low res scan or two including the full contents page to show the depth this book goes into.
Unlike the Chris Rees book it does not look at the ownership angle at all but concentrates the near 200 pages to an introductory history of Subaru, the decade leading upto the Impreza, and then looking at the Impreza in detail in three periods...from 1992-96, 97-2000, and then 2001- onward.
Excellent detail regarding specs of cars (down to the colours available in places) as they excited the showroom in the UK, Australian, US and Japanese markets. There is also much information on the yearly V-Spec special editions!
No Impreza book would be without its rallying history, and if you want to know the numberplate of the car that McRae drove in the 1995 Swedish rally and the position they finished..its here.
In my opinion its the STi of books in comparison to Chris Rees Sport.

MITSIBUSHI!
Got and read the book.
Still think Chris Rees's book is a better guide to Scooby Ownership.
Unless you want a catalogue of all models WORLDWIDE.With barely deciferable brochure pictures.
Have to agree with Brian Long on the nicest looking Scooby though
He He! Just cos Ive got one.
