What do you feed your Intercooler water spray
#1
Thinking of fitting an intercooler water spray to my Scoob, what additive, if any, do people put into the water to stop it freezing in the winter.
Screenwash? Or would this corrode the Intercooler?
Cheers

Cheers guys,
Should have added, that I noticed a second space on the screenwasher bottle for a 2nd pump to be fitted.
Thought about getting a second screenwasher style pump and using same reservoir, but that always has screenwash additive in it, would this damage the intercooler?
Or is it better / safer to have separate bottle for I/C water spray?
It does get pretty chilly in Fife (in winter), nuts are like a half walnut at times.

Separate bottle for IC is best Bogie, as you can use IC spray awful quick if you're pressing on, and the last thing you want to do is run out of screenwash at one of those "greasy fly swarm" moments!

I used to use a water /methanol mix on my racer's intercooler, that worked pretty well but don't know whether it is a safe risk on a road car with the Scooby IC mounted where it is. This was for added cooling of course.
