in case you were thinking of running yr four pot at TOTB then
be afraid...be very afraid. more bhp than the norris flyer on only 1.2 bar boost!! 773 bhp!! still chuckling now as he has 0.7 bar boost left!! I think simon was running 2.5 bar to get that on the engine dyno...

Taken from gtr.co.uk:
Well, will be quick as just got back from G Force dyno from yesterdays triumphs and need to got out again.

Had a few different little issues with the car yesterday on the dyno and a faulty lambda sensor which put us behind a bit and the long and the short of it is we couldnt run full power due to a faulty stepper motor in my EVC so couldnt control the boost which was a bastad to say the least and a problem that presented itself very late last night so we couldnt do anything about it. Now have to venture to the dyno again for the full power runs when this has been changed, bit sad but its cool, no rush.

BUT, the good news is that the car produced 565 bhp AT THE WHEELS and wait for it, the best bit - 1.2 bar of boost. HAHAHAHA, excellent. Still not the power at all that it will give once we can run a full 2 bar but it does beat Garys old engine which was run on G Force's dyno previously at 548 I think it was so thats cool and at only 1.2bar ( wastegates ), love it.

The car has seen many little changes since the last runs which were 525 or 515, cant remember now but anyway, these obviously helped along with the fitment ofthe HKS V Pro hardware and some magic mapping.

Got a quick chance to blast the car early hours of this morning outside G Force ( on the road ) and fick, its rather lively. If anyone is passing G Force today you will see 4 black lines that stretch about 100 yards up the road where we were spinning all four wheels messing around last night to see some fruits of our labour for the time being. Spins in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, didnt get a chance to drop fourth gear, ran out of road, lol.

So, thank you for last night, those whom were there, see you very soon and we will play ' PROPER'.

By the way, as the last thread was closed, why not have another arguement :- 565 bhp at the wheels is 773 bhp at the fly using G Force estimate, how cool is that eh and I still have 0.7bar left. 773bhp on optimax.

Very happy , very very happy.

Ps. Chris from G Force said that it is the second fastest car he has ever been in, the only other thing is the GT1 Blue Coral car, I promised to make it his ' fastest' by the time we are done.

Oh, and Gary felt sick from the force of acceleration, hehe, sorry Gary had to tell everyone.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
