Saw about half a dozen cars (M3, Punto GT, TVR) passing through Rushden yesterday afternoon, stickered up on the back, one of which said "OVERTAKE" and an arrow pointing left?
Was it some sort of rally/ something to do with an event at Thurleigh Autodrome?

Butty,
The sticker u r talking about has probably been on the vehicle during a track day It`s standard track rules during SIDC trackdays that anyone overtaking has to do it on the left.
I.E. if a faster car approaches u should move over to the right and back off slightly to allow them to overtake on the left (hence the arrow pointing to the left).

Wrightylee,
I don't want to sound prickly but that kind of question is best dealt with off line - you never know who wants that sort of info on here.
Email me and we go from there.
Reagrding the stickers, I guess there was something going on at Palmers. Perhaps they were refuelling at the local Shell with Optimax. As you say, a bit wasted for the Punto - it would have been better with Safeways finest
