Hi All
We have two seriously cool items to give away which cannot be purchased, or aquired by any means that I am aware of. They are so impossible to get hold of that I am not even allowed to publish what they are.
All I am able say is that they are an item that you can keep (in other words, not tickets to something or similar) and that they will be of specific pleasure to own by someone who is hugely in to rallying.
So.. Because these are SO special, we are not just going to pick someone out of the hat of Plus members, but would ask that you state your interest on this thread so that we can be sure they are going to a home that will really appreciate them.
So...
If you are a ScoobyNetPlus member and are really in rallying, please state that in here.
We will then select randomly from the people who are most interested.
If you are not in to rallying, don't feel you will lose out, as we will be continuing to give away loads of stuff throughout the year anyway
All the best
Simon

I love it!
Put my name down please!! Only ever get to spectate and never had the thrill of actually being in a rally car or around a team.
I would happily fill Subaru mugs with coffee to get a feel and buzz that must surround even the smallest event.
P.S. Just mailed Shaun about plus pack??!!??

The Rally....
For me it's more than just watching cars drive at seemingly suicidal speeds though forest roads. It's also about going away for the weekend with my brothers and friends and having a laugh.
Outdoor activities (shooting, quad-biking (and braking my wrist in the process)), plus of course drinks down the local (where ever that may be for this year). Getting drunk, telling stories and jokes. Slap up meals and more drinks and games.
On Rally day, packing up the bacon, bread and sauce into a rucksack along with the portable camping stove so that we can enjoy freshly cooked bacon sarnies while watching the cars blast through, showering onlookers with stones and mud. More trudging through forests and hills to find the perfect spot. wondering at the magnificence of the scenery. The morning fog lifting from the valley. Blue skys and a chill in the air.
When the last car had gone, walking wearily back to the car to peel off layers of clothes and mud. Stretching aching feet. Sitting on a comfortable seat.
Then home. A hot bath and deep sleep. The sleep of the exhausted and content...
