LMAO, i was chatting to someone from 22b about this yesterday.

Phone call to insurance co.

'any endorsements or convictions'
'any no claims'
'what car is it'
'sorry sir they do not make a 2.3 impreza'
'they do, i have one'
'but sir it is not on my system so there cant be one'
'but i feckin built it'
'ok'
'any other mods'
'a couple'
'what power increase do they add'
'about 350hp'
'just gettin a quote for you sir'

'£15,349 with a million pounds excess'

Must be good to have your license back now David, hope you dont take the above wrong, was just discussing what chance you have of insuring your car for a reasonable ammount of money. Robbing *****!

Congrats on both your efforts on the car and getting licence back. It's bloody hard work getting parents and freinds to give you a lift, especially whaen parts are ready for collection and you want them ..like.. yesterday !

I know how frustrating it is, sitting in the passenger seat of a powerful car. knowing it could be your own...

Still, now is the time to get out and enjoy the fruits of all those months toiling in the garage..

**** me, that has to be worth the wait!

Andy

God damn. 18 months i could not cope with that. Get mine back in 3 weeks and been banned for 4 months and that is bad enough. Cant imagine what it has been like for you. Never mind we all learn by our mistakes. 23 days to go
