Software for PDA and Subaru?
#1
Hello!
Just wanted the ask, if anyone of you know any software for the PDA that can plugin the engine wireloom? To ex. show boost, knocking, etc. etc.?
Or a g-tech monitor to show 0-100, 402m, hp and torgue?
There must be someone who made some software and a wire-jack for the wireloom..

Jbagh, I'm also looking for the same thing, seems to be a fair few universal products that work with ODBII on the market, I'll keep in touch with you via mail and let you know what I find out.
PS. I know this is slightly off the topic but the best pda speed camera warning system and satnav solution for the money seems to be tomtom & Trafcam, they work well together
Cheers

Hi all
I've actually been making "jEcu" for java-enabled handheld devices like SonyEricsson P800:
This is from a log file "sti7typeuk.csv" I found on EcuTek's download page.
What is it ?
It is a tool for displaying Rpm, Lambda and Boost from log-files (I'm planning on making it run realtime).
It currently supports EcuTek and SMT6 (www.perfectpower.com). In my previous car, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, I fitted a SMT6 piggyback ecu to be able to run bigger injectors and 2.5 bar MAP sensor along with the blueprinted and upgraded engine.
Why ?
I found I needed some tool to look at logfiles and analyze how lambda values react to different boost/rpms.
How ?
With "jEcu" you're able to run the complete log "realtime" or at any speed you might wish. You're able to step backwards and forwards in the log for solving fuelling problems.
For some more info, try:
jEcu description
Here you're able to download the software, and it even runs on Windows. Just double-click the jar-file after extraction. If this doesn't run, you need java runtime on your computer:

I guess I could try connect the phone directly to the port in the WRX though. Anyone got any detailed info on the communication with the WRX com-port ?
