Going to look at a my01 ppp, tomorrow and the bloke on the phone reckons its got 265bhp, was there an upgrade on the standard ppp available from the dealers ie downpipe, cause he said it was standard apart from ppp.
And also how can I tell if its got an aftermarket downpipe? and mid section? And also what is stamped on the backbox of a ppp car?
And also is there any tips for trying to judge the power of a car whilst driving it on the road? cheers all Taff.

Ive got an 01 PPP and standard bhp with that pack is 245
there will be a certificate of install in the owners book
with the date and MLS, dealership etc, it should have a ppp backbox only, which is stainless, if any other section has been changed it should be shinny! an ecu remap and a blue prodrive pipe under the bonnet which you can't miss, mine with a ITG filter is putting out 252 bhp, you would need a de-cat or fast flow cat for more power
hope that helps.

Back box will be round tail with prodrive on it.
The Downpipe is NOT replaced with PPP only the front pipe after the downpipe (also known as centre pipe).
An official PPP will have a certificate, also Blue intercooler pipe to left front of (just under) intercooler.
He may have changed the downpipe hence the 265bhp figure. But your warrenty will be void unless you know your local dealer well
All the best
Pete

Damn Mark B got there first
