Whats after PPP?
#3
Although people think the route that I have gone is risky I personally think it has paid off, albeit there isn't a lot left of the PP Pack now,
I have fitted,
HKS Downpipe,
HKS De-Cat
HKS Racing Suction Kit
HKS Sequential BOV
HKS Boost Guage
Next Month:
Autronics Fully Mappable ECU, (With Knocklink)
Blitz Nur-Spec R Backbox
Samco Hoses
HKS IC Pipe Kit
without even next months kit fitted yet the car feels more intense,
after the work has been done it will be down to stiffening the chassis, and uprating the breaks,
I'd like to think that this will be enough for me to have killed the tuning bug.

forgot to say,
most will say, TSL !! who seem to have the gen, I have only had a brief conversation with them over the phone, best site I have found on the net is Scooby World,
but the people I have used in the end were CGR, through Sumo Power,
and they are top guys and are willing to go that extra mile with customer support, can't praise them enough

If you value the warranty then nothing else apart from maybe the geometry and then some new rubber for when the winter arrives.
Otherwise, manifold, downpipe, etc., bigger turbo, FMIC, the list could go on and on.

Hi Brewstaa,
I would say exactly as Steve777 says, then leave it at that. The tuning game will consume you completely. If i keep my STI8 PPP,i will do as Steve suggests, then leave it alone and learn how to drive it proparly. The money you save by not blowing it on trying to over tune it will come in handy when/if they ever bring the spec c or equivelant into this country as on official car.The STI8 PPP is good enough for mere mortals such as ourselves.Just enjoy it and have fun.Regards, SIMON.

CTR Nutter,
Yes, thats me, i still do post on the MLR.I have been a member from the start nearly.I have swopped and changed between these cars more times than i care to remember.I like them both, i think that they represent fantastic value and performance.I even left the fold once and bought a 996 turbo. That is some car,but very very expensive. So now i am back with the Jap stuff, and it happens to be an STI 8PPP, which i am happy with, for how long?, who knows? Thats just about my life story.Regards, SIMON.

Brewsta,
The guys are right and wrong if that makes sense, they are right that you shouldn't tune a car so it's above your limits, and also it can become a very expensive, hobbie indeed, just look at the list of mods on my car since febuary when it was brand new, and I doubt that will be the end of it,
the problem is finding the right balance of increased performance and relaibility,
although it's an evo ask blade aka tony on the MLR where his tuning took him originally only fitting what I have fitted along with most others, it always starts with induction, exhaust and then the bug kicks in
