If you are using the power freed up by the pipe /filter the borg and beck will be ok but it wont last as well as a dearer/better? clutch i killed one in 10k but i tow a trailer let the wife drive etc cheap to buy though and fitting no problem as i do it myself.
I think 4hours work for someone who knows how to do it would be about right

if you are not to heavy on it it should be fine

I have seen prices around 200-250 posted in past for supply/fit depends on clutch type too though

I wouldn't fit a Borg and Beck clutch in a mini let alone a scooby
(and i run a garage so i should know!!)...they are cr*p.
Try LUK.. they have a good reputation and they are honestly priced, but ideally if you have to replace it then i would 'bite the bullet' and fit a good competion clutch as it will last a lot longer without the worries if you have a heavy right foot.

Hi im after a new clutch too, but cant decide which to have. I thought about an AP racing one but have been told they wont last much longer than 10k, where as the standard scooby one has lasted 60k. so if anyone knows of a clutch that will last at least half that time then please let me know. I was thinking of a Black diamond clutch, dont know if there any good though

Cheers Marx

Our local Partco motor factors stock/sell LUK clutches.Another good make to try is BLUEPRINT..OE japanese parts,we use these quite a bit and the quality is good.
