I have one ( 2001 JDM S/tb ), there are a couple of others on here too.

240ps ( 236bhp ) out of the box (uk model is 177bhp) ..., mod it like you would a MY00 , bit more soft to drive than my old bugeye, and understeers to buggery on standard tyres and suspension setup. Sorted with the bigger rear arb off the WRX and a set of 17"s & tyres to match. Only 2 pots at the front, but 4 pots bolt straight on if you have clearance on the wheels ( another reason to get 17's )

jackblack,
i owned a 2001 forester turbo uk spec 177 bhp,
check out top gears jd power survey,
beats any other 4x4 by a mile, handles corners like impreza,
as comfy as legacy, huge load area and 0-60 of 7.4,
superb piece of kit with good residual values,
subaru do same ppp for it aswell,
highly recommended,

Thumbs up

Yep, standard spec Turbo is around 177bhp nowadays. Like all Scoobs, tho, it likes to drink....... I believe you can get an STi Forrester from Japan????
