Question for any P1 owners...
#3
I believe you do - a 4 door P1! What's that then??
You got the lump in it?? She back on the road yet??
I was just asking cos I was thinking more and more about that gearbox and running gear from the same car you got your engine from.
Well, guess what I've just bought from our friend Dal
He's already sold the rear diff, so he's gotta source another one, so it's a few more pennies. Getting it fitted at the end of September - taking him the car on pay day
Thanks for the tip of the P1 gearbox mod

Just been out for a drive. Mine's doing 70 at about 2800 in 5th, so it's not too bad only being a couple of hundred revs higher.
I can live with that for all the extra acceleration

About 90 as I picked up a speeding ticket for 92mph the first week whilst running it at 4k max and trying to keep up with a friend in a TVR on the motorway who was supposed to be showing me the way somewhere :grr. The most annoying thing was it was done by laser and his stealthy tvr in front which was doing well over 100 most of the time wasn't picked up.
