For those who have had there cars stolen/carjacked - saw this... not sure if its legal in the UK tho Maybe someone could link it to the sigma alarm for at night... (could just imagine my wifes face if she forgot to disarm it )

These are deadly serious; car-jacking vistims are usually killed in South Africa; it uses a big ****-off bottle of butane with 3 nozzles underneath on either side, on the leading edge of the door. Its also perfectly legal (in South Africa)

Like the idea though. Would certainly deter most thieves and help them think twice before trying to mess around with your hard earned pride and joy. Would definately have a better effect than what we currently have! No doubt some people in society might not agree with me on this though
Clifford/Toad/Sigma/Tracker etc...take notes for your next generation Thatcham alarm - Think Toast

Watched a programme on this and there was an old boy on there (65 plus) and he had developed his own anti car jacking device, it was a hugh **** off blade (around 4 ft long) that came out from under the sill and it did a 180 degree spin. Bye bye ankles

my wife went to Kenya with work earlyer this year and car jacking is huge over there with daily stories of people who were car jacked or knew people who had been. locals kill for mobile phones let alone a car. sad really the price some folks put on life!

as for the south african approach "now thats what I call a flamer kit!"

Im just having my air bags replaced with large metal spikes connected to the alarm!! I would love to find some ****** impailed in my roof!!!

I also remember seeing this a couple of years back. I think it has actually been banned now in SA. Problem was, when it was activated, it does not cater for the innocent pedestrian walking along the path next to the road....! Doh, sorry love, your hair looks nice...

Car jacking in rife in Jo'burg. Apparently, if you are a victim, and you live to tell the tale, you are one of the lucky ones. They normally just kill you, one less witness.
