boot opener

silly question , but can you open the boot from the inside if the doors are locked ?? my point being if jonny thief smashed the side window could he open the boot and nick whatever is in the boot !if you can tis a silly device to have ! no ??

You can actually stop the boot from being opened from inside the car, look on the boot catch,there's a lever that has 'cancel' stamped on it, put this in the up position(i think) this will then stop the little Ba5tards from getting in the boot, one drawback it also stop you from accessing the boot from inside the car as well

All depends what sort of car you're talking about. If you're referring to a JDM car with fixed back seat, it's not easy to get into the boot from the passenger compartment once the remote release has been disabled as mentioned previously.

However, if you have dropping rear seats, it ain't that hard...
