driving off

We have a dropped kerb outside our house (green line in the piccy), but next door has a huge double cab which protrudes onto the pavement, and there are always cars parked on the road opposite. The result is that most mornings I end up dropping my left rear off the kerb.
Can someone offer some advice or reassurance on this? I wasn't so bothered when I had my used BMW, but with a new car I'm being a bit paranoid at the mo.

I have a similar problem but not for much longer, local coucil has charged me £170 to lower the three kerb stones on the left of my drive - so no more bumping down the kerb when next door's mates are blocking the original drive.
Might be worth contacting your local council (borough not county) for this price, I thought it was well worth it.
If not, just drive off the kerb very slowly that way you won't scrape the bottom of your shiny new car.

If you open the original file and put your cursor over one of the red rectangles then click, it should highlight, and you can delete it. If you can do that with the two red rectangles to the left, you should have plenty of space.

Let my misses drive your car for a day.
OK ill explain, weve got a set up pretty much like yours where a car always parked opposite our drive, we have to reverse out of the drive.
Well one morning she reversed right into the side of the car smashing the door in
All that was on our car was a small make on the bumper that polished out.
Well as you can imagine they didnt park there again.
