Iv'e been thinking about a scoob for a while now but im still not convinced it's really for me, the thing that puts me off a bit is that there quite common..

To cut a long story short im pissed of with old cars! i love my Escort RS turbo and iv'e had two of em but there is a new problem each week.. at least with a newer car you wouldent get these kinda problems and no rattles lol..

I would have loved a GTi-R but again the quite old...

What could you lot say to sway me towards a scoob?

Cheers..

Oh, i how do you get the smillies to work? i keep on getting page could not be found!

I've had mine for 6months... i thought of selling and buying a nissan skyline... and then i curbed it and had to wait for a wheel for about a month and realised how much i missed it...
Mate of mine sold his and drove a mondeo for a week and realised he couldn't be without his scooby... he whent and bought the scooby back off the people he sold it to!!!
I love my scooby!!!

as said above test drive one and you will see

Scoobies are generaly reliable.
Much the same as your cossie - gentle when cold, let cool down and frequent oil changes.
I seem to get around 22 to the gallon no matter what i do
And for smilies - just check edit on this post and hey presto

if your going from an escort rs even the standard uk turbo would be an imorovement, even if your rs was heavily modded, would think that would be the only convincing argument you would need

bttt

If a scoob has around 70,000 miles on it, would you tend to avoid it?
But if serviced regulary and regular oil changes, looked after, the engine should go for much longer then that shouldent it? Or am i asking for trouble?

So it's a toss up between the Pulsar and the Scoob.. Why do you reckon the pulsar is a betetr buy? keep in mind the scoob is a much newer car then the Pulsar..
