Just had my group buy H&S decat downpipe fitted today by those nice people at Xtream Scoobies......and Wow, i'm smiling
I am amazed at the difference in the performance of my March 2000 Classic.
While there i also had an ITG filter fitted.
To my surprise my Scoob only had one factory fitted Cat in the exhaust system...the one in the D/P. So my Classic is now fully de-catted. Is this unusual to have only one Cat?

The Turbo now spoils up much quicker and has a lovely 'woosh' about it and the Ninja backbox sounds even better. Overall noise levels are up....but the flat four sounds devine and has a lovely grunt under acceleration.
I have added about 20bhp with the D/P and B/B....will i get anymore with a striaght thru centre section and would it be any louder? The factory fitted centre just has a resonator.

If anyone is thinking of getting a D/P......go for it!

I need a sack of spuds in the boot to stop her from taking off....what on earth is a 300bhp scoob like?!!!

I thought they had a cat (or two) in the centre, too??? Oh well, shows how much I know, lol.
