My October issue of CAR MECHANICS arrived in the post this morning. Of interest to those not afraid to get their hands dirty occasionally is a four page illustrated "Service Bay" article on the Subaru Legacy 2.2 GX.
Usually an informative read and there's a 16 page supplement devoted to the 3-5-7 series Bavarian product ... for those interested in such things ..

Pity the Legacy's a 2.2, which has quite a lot less in the engine bay than my twin turbo GTB. And the brakes/suspension are very different on the GTB.
But otherwise, usual good CM article, with only a modicum of spelling mistakes

Strikes again .....Never been on strike ever ..
This car mag has saved me a nice few quid over the years plus the satisfaction of knowing a job's been done well. Not something you can say about most other car and consumer magazines ...
I've noticed a higher frequency of Subaru and other marques' items appearing in this mag more recently as these once less numerous marques become .... more numerous ... good eh .... Imprezas are a frequent sight locally now ... far out numbering Mitsubs ..... good eh....
