What happens to standard STI exhausts after the PPP is fitted, I went to the skip behind my local dealer and found a couple but they had been damaged (decommisioned
).
I know have a friend of a friend who is now the service manager at a another localish subaru dealership. During a conversation with him he said they store them in boxes for upto 3 years until the warranty has expired on the car then ditch them So he could get me one in a couple of years time.
if this is true (as it sounds a bit daft) its a shame as I would of bunged him a few quid for one.
Guess I wll just have to keep putting those pennies away for the WRX PPP for my car.

The dealer should give you your exhaust back after fitting the PPP...I got a backbox, downpipe and fuel pump in the back seat of my car when I picked it up...it is not an exchange. Gave the backbox to a friend in exchange for beer money.

My dealer gave me the parts too. The PPP is not an exchange but a replacement and the old parts are yours to keep.
