im just about to collect my my03 in graphite black mica and the dealer is trying to get me to have care and protect put on to the interior and exterior to help preserve the showroom condition of the car. has anyone had an experience of this and is it worth the £234? as i know black can look shoddy in a few years time . maybe there is some other product that i could use.

I had Diamond something put on one of my previous cars, It was supposed to be a permanant polish, worked for the first year and Then I found that it needed polishing & topcoat (wax) like a car without.
The diamond stuff was also supposed to help prevent stone chips (it didnt).
You can buy some top quality polish (swissol or zymol ect). for a lot less money and be kitted out for a long time.

Contact a Valeter direct and they will get you the stuff they use to Diamond Bright it, for about £30 and you do it yourself,the dealer is making major profit at £234.
The term 'removing your trousers and not using Vaseline' springs to mind.
