Question

Has anyone put an STi8 with PPP on PowerStations rolling road recently??

Would be very interested to see the dyno results if so. (or just how close it gets to the claimed peak 300BHP/300lbft figures on their dyno)

Thumbs up

I believe that there was a scooby day at Powerstation a while ago where there was STI 8's unfortunatley I can't remember what specs.

It might be worth a search to see the results. I think it was in the southern section....

Don't think RR's will read that peak, on the road you'll only see max boost in 5th and they do tests in 4th(well did on my STi7)IIRC

most seem to get around 290 bhp and 260 lbs torque at Powerstation

I think Powerstations readings will be a lot lower than that - my Spec C didn't manage much over the 300bhp mark!

PS is a notoriously low reading rolling road, Well Lane is the opposite, it seems to be very optimistic!

well as prodrive reckon it should be pushing 305 at the flywheel, i think 308 is not that optomistic.... 3bhp a mere hiccup lol

I'll have you know that I have it on good authority that my car is pushing about 255 in reality

Time for a trip to Well Lane for some free horses methinks........
