any stickers will generally be in japanese, electric folding mirrors, electric arial, aftermarket fog light and or fog light switch, check you chassis number on sidc faq http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm#1.5 section 2.1.1. Ive probably left loads out but these should help you find out.

ooh, a rear wash wipe on the saloon. I knew those Japanese were clever folk. Why do we never get wipers on saloons over here? It still rains/mists up early morning. probably even more so than wagons, cause the window isn't as steep.

I have a 94 import and an o3 uk, both have japaneese writing all over them, probably because they are made in Japan
The earlier imports are noticable because:
1. They have rear wash wipe (or a bidet in the back, as I heard someone once say)
2. After market rear fog light
3. SUBARU is not written across back of boot
4. Have folding door mirrors (although not in all cases)
5. Lastly but not least. Are more powerful as standard
