I'm just about to buy a WRX, but I don't want to if the MY04 comes out early next year and has better handling / more power?

I saw a couple of STi photo's from one of the motor shows, bu no details yet????

When did the MY03 come out? When did details about it 1st come out?

cheers

I started looking at September last year and there was lots of info already available on the MY03 WRX and that was on Sale Febuary this year if I remember correctly., What is confusing people is the model number for our current car in the US and JDM markets is MY04, So I wouldnt expect a big change next year for us, maybe a few small cosmetic or a special edition or maybe nothing at all as the MY03 is selling well.

I wouldnt expect much if anything to change on th MY03 wrx maybe a special edition spec c uk model.

If you are looking at buying a wrx now have a look in the for sale section I saw a my03 wrx with PPP fitted and a tracker for 17k thats a 5k saving on list and it was a UK car, cant go wrong there IMHO.

There is no real change to the WRX range. The DCCD-A option is being added to the UK STI as an option It will be available in 3 colours; light Blue, WR Blue & Red. Both the Red and light Blue cars will have Grey wheels and the WR Blue will have the gold. The factory is only making 1,000.
I have put a brief summary of the MY04 line up on our Subaru Homepage

In that case Ian, if there isn't much difference, are you gonna have some real cheap MY03's in Dec/Jan???

Do me a good deal on a nice black one with a Tracker

Question

Is there any confirmed mechanical spec for these cars?

Is it the regular Euro STi engine with DCCD-A

or

Have they fitted the JDM engine with Nitrid Crank, Twin Scroll, Tubular Headers etc ?

Cheers

Nathan..
