Car running - anyone else got a dented roof recently?

Parked my car in Cambridge for three hours and came back to find alot of roof dents. Found an eye-witness who said a student was walking in the road and decided my car was in the way and walked straight over it, doing a fair bit of damage in the process. Unfortunately had scarpered by the time I got there (or may be fortunately as I was pi55ed off to put it mildly). The feds sympathised but said there wasnt much to be done now and its becoming quite common in Cambridge apparently! Not much point fixing it back up if kids are going to walk over it again. Anyone else had this happen?

This a well-known practice amongst the 'further education' fraternity, known as 'car hopping', almost exclusively performed whilst drunk.
You have my sympathies mate, dunno what to suggest other than get it fixed, and don't park near anywhere students can find alcohol, which rules out most city centres.
