Saw this on the DVLA website... SUB 22B is in their next auction with a £300 reserve!

http://www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk/h...Auction/p/next

Search down the list for it!

the DVLA auctions are pretty good - I got my plate through one in February/March this year.

It will go for a lot more than £300.

I got a good one, from a distance of 1500 yrds, closing one eye, and standing on your head. It looks like 'Y O Z A'

i dont think it will go for that much.

there are few who want it, low demand = low price.

Of course all illegal number plate spacings are being actively pursued by the police, therefore if you cant get a distintive plate using regular spacings then don't bother!

Yeh, that pi$$e$ me off with DVLA, they actively advertise reg numbers such as B1 LLY knowing full well it spells BILLY and then the police have an issue when you use it how it was intended to be used.

A perfect example is P112 ATE. Doesnt mean $hit as it should be. But if you play about with the font and spacing it spells PIRATE.

Talk about entrapment!!!

Sorry to the person who asked for the plate to be released... guess I have just increased the price of it through letting folk know - oops!

You can bid for these plates over the phone by registering for the auction with the DVLA - they call you 5 mins before your plate is about to be auctioned. It's a great 2 minutes on the phone!! Better than an 0898 number

you have to pay for the brochure of the plates then register your intent to bid.

You can turn up as a registered bidder, by via telephone or by post.

I was out the country so did mine by post.

The bid you post is the hammer price. This is subject to auctioneers percentage, vat and transfer cost.

My plate of choice went for £250 but I paid £406.
