Thanks for the replies!!!
What is it with main dealers - the only ones I have ever had any success with are Honda dealers.
I will take the car back tomorrow and berate them accordingly

Yeah I thought I ought to do that too. Who knows what else they've missed.
Anyway I'm calling them in the morning and they'll be getting the car back tomorrow - not happy really tbh!

Ferrari F355 - nah just kidding.
I drive an ITR. Bought it as a stopgap last year, but tbh I love it so its staying. Wife had a MY99 Scoob and wanted to get a new WRX, but I talked her into an STI
I get to play with it (the STI that is - Oooo errr ) at weekends so everyone's happy!

jimmy,
Sorry I forgot not everyone knows the abbreviations, that was a little presumptuous of me - too much time on this damned forum I reckon
Although the Integra is obviously slower than the STI, you'd be surprised at just how much fun it is to drive. Yes it's front wheel drive and yes it's down on power compared to the STI, but the handling is sublime and when you learn to really rev it (and I mean really rev it) it rewards in spades.
My wife loves the safety of the Scoob in terms of how it feels on the road and loves the fact you can pootle along if you wish or just as easily press on and make really rather rapid progress. She finds the Honda rather too involving sometimes so hence I drive it more often than her.
That's all there is to it really!

Picked up my wife's new car today - new UK STI.
All seems well except the suspension struts are covered in what can best be described as plastic bags. These protrude right down to behind the wheel. Only noticed them as am looking to replace the wheels very soon as we don't like the gold and hence was inspecting the gold brake calipers with a view to repainting them too.
Are these bags just part of the delivery packaging and should they have been remmoved or are they left on for a reason. Would ring the dealer, but it's shut now so I thought I'd ask the Scoobynet experts.
Thanks in advance.
