Hi there,i had a test drive in a 98 turbo this morning and bought it,pick it up Wednesday. But i have found myself grinning uncontrollably this afternoon!!!!!!! Is this normal? Also have you any tips on keeping my license in something so fast? Perhaps a brick under the throttle pedal?

Probably the best decision I ever made. Agonised over it for 6 months, because surely they couldn't be THAT MUCH quicker than my V6 Mondingo (PILL*CK!!!!)
Went on a test drive, glanced at the speedo expecting to see 75-80, was doing 120, bought the car there and then. bye bye Ford.
For legal reasons the above stated figures are in KPH and were performed on a private road ;-)

BTW, Whereabouts in W/Yorks? I'm Wakefield area.

Well we haven't sold them for long but out of the Road Angel and Snooper S6 Neo i think the snooper is the better All rounder.
We do sell all the snoopers from bottom of the range up, but dont really get any demand for the road angel.(not saying road angel is not good cause it is still a good detector)

Dont know anything on them so cant say really, But in my eyes i would go for the S6. But the Choice is yours my friend.
If you did want one i can normally do them cheaper than Halford's and places like that

Well obvoiously not being able to try them all, The S6 i think, it dispays the road name of what road you are on, what speed zone you are in, what speed you are doing, how far+ what type of camera is up ahead, and aload more stuff.

Just never sell it unless it's for another Scoob. I have the scooby scowl cos I sold my Scoob 3 weeks ago and wish Ihadn't.
I spend my spare time now going to Scooby dealers and drooling, and wishing
I'm off now for a cry

Welcome
The first thing i would recommend is fit some sort of radar/laser/speed camera detection device. There is plenty of advice and info on here...just do a search.
The grin factor starts the moment you turn the key and the flat four bursts into life.
