I thought they got the cars through quick enough but the layout was badly planned.People wanting to park on stands by the strip had to enter the same queue as those running. The food stands could have been a little better planned to as the queues for them stretched into the path of cars with people not willing to move out of the way.

Didn't get there till 1.30 ish but still saw alot of action.
1st time my wife and I have done the 1/4 mile and got not too bad results.
Best time being 13.6 sec's. happywiththat.
Lots of nice looking motors aswell, toooooooo many to mention.
Good day out

We all had a great time the only thing that bugged me was listening to the Evo owners in there Ralliart coats bang on about how s**te every scoob was.Other than that couldn't fault it my 14 year old son enjoyed the scantilly clad ladies to.

Hi all,
Thanks for the kind words from everyone.
Spoke to many new faces today and many old ones too.
The general concensous was that it was a very good show, with the exception to the waiting time in entering the show. Hopefully they'll sort this out for next year.
I would like to thank Tanya for standing at the gate for 3 hours in the cold to issue out the tickets.
Also big thanks to Danny of scoobycity for their big turnout.
It was quite a shock to the system for me today, cause by 11am everything was sorted on the stand and i was able to have a long look around the show.
And to Rob in his 22B who entertained us all on the drag strip with his anti-lag.
Hope to see some of you again at the "Donny show" next April.

shame about the traders! I counted about 10 of which most were selling toy cars!
I think if someone had have had a half decent selection of kit they would have made a mint.
Picked up a nice two pod gauge holder from Nomad for £40! Was well happy with that!

Had a great time too! Cheers to all who helped organise the day, including Tiny etc for organising the convoys! It was an early start for us lot in sussex but it was worth it!!
Had 3 goes down the strip, loved every minute of that.
As for the LAYDEEZ, well there were a few dirty old men hanging around the Fast Car stand ( you know who you are fellas, you should all be ashamed of yourselves!! )

Had a great day out with car, wife and 4 week old son.
Well organised by all - apart from nearly getting directed to park with the commoners by a marshall before I queried it then got sent round to the SIDC area Shame about the 30minutes queue to get in though (considering it only took 25 min to get there)
Never been to Santa Pod before and it was awesome to see some quick, not so quick, suprisingly quick and broken cars, think I might have to go again 1st Nov when the proper sub 5 sec cars come out to play, that must really be something to see.

Thanks to Craig and Tanya for all the organising but must admit thought there may have been more stands for some reason..was expecting to be buying...lol so didnt spend to much which pleased the wife..lol
Must admit that HKS Skyline was the winner for me...waited at line 2 seconds -let other skyline race up the trace then went off and still beat him and recorded 11 second 1/4 mile...just so much power..agreed also knobber in 22B looked stupid but hey each to his own - anti lag kits fitted...

Blown away by a Camper Van!! That was me.....
They picked the car from the lineup to run against the van and I was supposed to give him a decent head start - no worries. He took off, and I waited..and waited - gave him an 8 second head start, then flicked the launch control switch and the car nearly stalled - by the time I gave it some revs he was nearly 3/4 of the way down the strip. Another sh***te start - a 13 second run - and he pipped me by 0.6 seconds.
Excellent to see so many scoobs there - quiete a few new age cars running aswell - nice one.
I think I'm too used to going around corners - lucky I'm an engineer not a race driver - best was 12.3 @ 113mph. A decent 1/4 mile driver would have seen a high 11 sec. Maybe next time.
