WTF, have you driven much in the snow with a Turbo Impreza
brakes are scary as hell in the snow, just reminded me to get an ABS switch to turn it off when it snows.
Oh and get some narrow wheels and tyres so it will change direction

I don't believe that there is such a thing as a "good time" or "bad time" to sell cars when you are dealing with cars like Scoobys and enthusiasts like us.

Yes, Mr Arnold Clark et all may find their showrooms quiter at this time of year cos your average Corsa/Mondeo purchaser might wanna save the pennies for Xmas, but not us.

Personally I collected my STI 8 PPP today and the time of year is irrelevant.

If someone wants your car, then you will get rid of it easy peasy regardless of time of year.

I do think however that to sell at this time of year, sucess will only come from concentrating on specialist/enthusiast groups like Top Marques and ScoobyNet, although you will probably only get offers of pennies from the vultures on here! lol

Good luck with the sale anyway!

Just stick a set of standard 15's with snow tyres on and the Impreza is great in the snow. If you can't be bothered taking the ABS fuse out then try cadence braking, it's becoming a lost art.

You cannot cadence brake something that wont lock up at all. On mine when you touch the brakes it confuses the hell out of the ABS. So the idea of turning the ABS of is so that I can cadence break.
PS I drive / make single seat racecars so should know how to brake. LOL
Cant fit 15's because of the brakes
