My wife gave birth yesterday to a baby boy (god I'm knackered).
Kinda struggling with Names, I like Scooby, Imprezza, Turbo. My wife likes none of these, strange woman, help!!
Sorry for the non Scoob related Post, but I'm over the moon.

CONGRATS!!!
Perhaps a non Scooby related name would make more sense in the future, but then that would be sensible!Maybe use a scooby related name as a middle name to save the poor kid toooo much embarasement? How about Richard or even Colin as they are the reason many of us drive the cars?

Scott:
Firstly, Congratulations on the new baby, lucky little fella, I had to wait 26 years to get a ride in a scooby!
Anyway, as for names, what about Colin, or as he's not driving for 'us' at present how about Richard?

Scott,
Congratulations!
I've got one due in October (well I think it's only one), and am experiencing the name game problem already.
On top of that, trying to convince my wife we now need an upgrade from the Sport saloon to a 5 door Turbo.
1) Enough space in the back for all the extra luggage we'll have to take everywhere with us.
2) More power to cope with it all!
Convincing argument.I think so!

Well done Scott, I guess your partner will be a bit knackered too, eh!!
In terms of playing the family man card in order to upgrade to a scooby turbo, it worked for me. However by the time the car arrived, Tina was that sick of me "going on" about it, that she did not give a sh*t wether or not she could get kids in the car.
One thing to be careful of, is that after too much time in the baby chair, their eyes start to bulge under excessive braking.

Congrats Scott,
I had one in December. Best thing in the world! Hope wife and baby are well. Get some sleep while she's still in hospital, 'cos you won't get any for a long time.
To hark back to an earlier discussion we had, how about Anakin, or Qui Gon? Hmm, maybe not.
Good luck !!

Scott,
Congratulations to you both. My little bundle of joy is now 9 months old and has already been out on a Scooby run with the Northern guys. A word of advice...if you can't get him to sleep or he won't stop crying, strap him into his car seat and take him out for a run in your Scoob, he'll be lolled to sleep by the lovely engine note...works every time.
As for names, I'd listen to your wife if I was you!
Cheers

Nice one Mrs. Davies, I hope Scott didn't get in the way too much.
Scott, agree to let the boss pick the names....... if you can always choose the cars.
Mike
Stop in again soon, we'll have a cuppa next time.

Congrats mate.
For those who've been following my own saga, my lad was born 4 weeks ago, thus the scoob was picked up 2 weeks ago (needed to give the missus 2 weeks of support at least )
We called him Dylan, and it seems now that there are bloody loads of Dylan's being born at the moment...
Oh Scott, if you think you're knackered now mate...
All the best

Congrats
Don't let her push you to more than 2 - Won't fit in Scooby - don't believe people that tell you they will. I'm convinced it's a conspiracy. - Might get you a B4 RSK instead though
As regards names Rumplestiltskin springs to mind ! - You can tell I've got some of my own !

Congratulations! That's great news.
We've just got married and people are already bugging us about babies - give us a chance! (we've got 2 cats, they'll do me for now).
As for names, how about Dominic (Dom), Carl (as in Foggie - off the track a bit there I know!), Kieran or Fox Mulder (joke!). I like George, but that's because of Clooney!

I always like the "name the baby after someone with your second name thang" .. i.e. if your second name is Moore call the baby either a) Roger or b) Demi ..
I'm afraid the best I can do for you is either
a) Ray (The Kinks .. maybe a wee bit obscure)
b) Dickie (my personal fave .. you just have to hope that when he grows up he has hair that looks like a badger)
For girls you could have Sharon or Bette .. ?
My second name is Jarret. I'm hoping to call my son (if I ever have one that is) Casper .. I'm afraid it's the nearest I can get ..

Go on, give the kid a head start in life... make his first name "Doctor" and choose a more conventional middle name for day-to-day use! I liked the Addams family's baby name, "Pubert", but then I am a bit strange.
