Check Connector it looks like, on the wiring diagrams I have anyway

Not sure what it is used for, ill see if Ive got one on mine

When I took mine in with CEL fault, this is the area where he pluged his laptop diagnostics thing in.

Thats my guess anyway.

Im guessing at a late classic, as I have exactly the same connector in the same place, and mine is a MY00

Its too plug a Diagnostic Machine into if your car was to have a Fault.

if that's what reads the fault codes then what does the select monitor plug do, cause that ain't it!!!

BTW, I didnt know you 'had an RB5?' Is it 'Number 286?' LOL.

the select monitor or "fault finder" plugs into the socket yer secs is plugged into, so i don't know what that connector is for bud. gonna see if mine has it too tomorrow, but i'm pretty sure it will. sorry i can't help more.
