Where is the V limited number/plaque and what is your Model nos (gc8 .....) Only ask coz i supposedly bought a MY96 V limited wrx but it has a cloth badge on the seat saying 95 championship etc but no other nos or plaque etc (it is a 96 car as the seatbelt date is 96- i posed the v limited or not Q ages ago and answers came up blank!!)

The plaque on mine is by the ash tray just in front of the gear stick. Obviously maybe different to to an MY95/96 though

cheers but theres no sign of anything ever having been there or close - i suppose someone could of removed it at some point (wouldnt make sense to anyway-but you never know)

LO M8 MY PLAQUE WAS ORIGINALY ON THE BACK BUTI RELOCATED IT 2 THE DASH THERE WAS ALSO A BIG STICKER SAME AS THE BADGES ON THE SEATS.

hi MS, what badges u got on yer seats? and is yours a my96 mod no-GC8C48D ?? any pics of car etc?
Also failing all else whats the main differences between standard My96 Wrx and My96 V limited? (on the docs mine is registered as an Impreza Wrx-Sti prodrive - not an sti or prodrive from what i can tell, only has a Prodrive back box and sti stickers on the lights, no i/c spray etc) ask me if im confused- Yes Very!!! The garage i brought it from says a V limited!! cheers G

lo m8 no picks im afraid ...mine had sti fog light covers 2 ...yes its a my96.....v-limited diffres from wrx becuase its got sti gold alloys and the fancy seats with logo stitched on em...no performance extras though....ohh and they r all wrc blue;}

yeah that sounds about right all except the wheels but the garage said he's happy to swap wheels about so probably had already- still looks good mind! i was searching earlier and found this site - you may/may not be interested :-

cheers C, i saw the sidc faq but it had no details of our my96 V Limited wrx's as far as i could make out unfortunately ; however the Angelfire.com one had a lil more info. Cheers anyway G

Actually the limited bit isnt in the model code and you will find the standard model and limited version will have the same model code.

Cool, i wasnt putting down the sidc faq its an absolute mine of info - sadly no my96 V limited stuff - im now sure i have a V limited but god only knows what nos it is - ive scoured the car AGAIN and still drawn a blank, all the numbers match ie eng,mod ,trans etc just no B****y edition run nos

ANY ideas of ways to find out??????

Are you sure they are all blue? Mine is Metallic black with gold alloys.
