Hi all,

Been watching the forum for months but decided to sign up now I bought a 94 WRX. Up the the Highlands so taken some sourcing, think I got the ideal one I was looking for :-).

Pick it up on Wed/Thurs, my question is that its got a dawes device fitted from what I can see - I dont want increased boost for reliability, is it easier to crank it down or remove it completely and how hard to do..

Its got induction kit and cat back exhaust anyway so its prob runnig 250-260 anyway so really no need for more.

Cheers guys

PS the other half is complaining about the grin already

You will only be happy with the 250-260 for a month or so. When you get used to the throw back you will be after more. Take it off with a view to replacing when you are settled with the car or just save time and leave it on and enjoy.

I think its actually a bleed valve - sorry not a dawes device, I am coming from a pug hdi so 200 + may last me a while.
