OK, at the end of the Heyford Academy day yesterday (great fun), under full accelaration around a tight corner, my car (03WRX)seemed to hesitate ('splutter'?) briefly before righting itself again.

Do I assume this is the infamous 'fuel surge'? and is there anything than can be practically done about it...tank was on just over 1/2 and the bend was a tight left hander if that makes any difference...

Driver error

sorry, could be fuel surge / fcd cutting in if you were going hell for leather / just one of those things.

OK, just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything 'major' and I was going for it...the instructor was sat next to me...his feedback was

"Started off wildly at first, but progressed to a more efficient driving style, needs to concentrate more on the racing line rather than out and out speed and must learn to look further ahead"
