Locking wheel nut

or should it be *ucking wheel nut !!

Whoever had the car before me must have had the wheel nuts put on with an air gun.

Anyway to cut my moaning i have snapped the locking wheel nut tool and so cant get my puncture of to fix it. has anyone got any ideas ???

And yes i have got to do all four now without a tool.

Alright mate this happen to me years ago… so this is what I did, a friend had an old (spare) locking wheel nut key it’s usually soft metal so you can smack it on to the nut and use it to get them off. Bit harsh but it worked then….

happened to me once with my old bmw.had to drill out re thread with left hand thread and undo with another bolt.pain in the a**e to do though.

had this too ages ago.
had to weld a normal wheel nut onto the locking nut then remove as normal.
