Pirelli tyres?
#1
We're looking for some Pirelli PZero tyres - 205, 45, 17 - cheapest we can get them (we live in Kent) is £150 each (fitted). Elite Autos in Essex do them for about £125 fitted, but it can be a mission getting there!!
Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper (not even necessarily fitted)?
Thx

Thanks to both of you.
Elite aren't too bad to get to, depending on traffic (it's taken us hours to get there and back before now, because of the tunnel), but otherwise a good drive - apart from the speed cameras!!
At least we now have the option of Maidstone as well.
Thx

I use Man on Wheels in Canterbury and they always beat the Elite price by 10% or so. I can't remember what I paid for the P-Zeros but IIRC it was around £105 a tyre, I just paid £114 a tyre for 18" Pirellis fitted and balanced. You should be able to play any of the tyre dealers off against eachother, it just depends where in Kent you are as to which ones you use. If you do use Man on Wheels, speak to Jerry!

If you are paying £125 per tyre for P-Zeros, you may as well pay £125 per tyre and get SO2s (I paid £499 for 17" SOs PPs incl VAT fitting etc).
P-Zeros are an old design and have been superceded by a number of other tyres, especially SO2s, superior grip in both wet and dry.
