Hopefully!

Unfortunately Sony own the rights to PS1 and PS2 though.

Plus, you wouldn't really want it called either of these anyway, since folk will ALWAYS think you are referring to a games console!

Here's hoping for a

STi WRC Petter Edition, based on the 'C' Spec STi with all the trimmings, DCCD, Twin Scroll Turbo etc...

Are you listening MR Woods of Prodrive, get on the phone to Japan on monday morning and get 500 of them on order.

Oh and stick me down for one

We could start on how trademarks only apply to specific industries, but after the prodrive stickers thread, I ain't going there

I hope they do a special edition

Philg,

I really hope so Perhaps the name cars are a close secret and awaiting the events of today to unfold maybe some small snippets may now trickle out to put bait on the hook

Scooby-si,

Perhaps 2 Special Ed. were to be brought out blue Margam7 & grey RB2 but maybe PS7 & CM7 I'm not sure but those aren't type "C's" but "Type UK's" with DCCD, sure hope I'm wrong though

I think Sony have something to say about Subaru calling a car the PS7. I would have imagined that the 'PS(number)' form constitutes a registered tradement.

I agree with Fatman.

same as Peugeot own the rights to all 3 figure number configurations with zero in the middle. 106, 206, 307 etc

As long as it doesnt have that stupid looking lego rear wing...

Although I hope one will have a full WRC bodykit in tarmac rally trim - a real ground hugger!

why would prodrive homologate a 2.5l car when wrc is limited to 2.0, and there wouldnt be that many privateers running in a2 would pay for the development of a 2.5l prodrive special.

this is of course if by homologation you mean for rally entitlement as opposed to "type approval" for the EU.

I would rob a bank for a solberg special edition if it was based on a spec c

Did anyone else think it was strange when Tommi said, 'I don't know what to do now' at the end of the Rally, it strikes me that if RB can't drive, then maybe Tommi will get the call back, I don't think that Colin could after whats been said, but Tommi.....

Ron,
Tommy is retiring, but you may be wrong about Colin as I said in my first post, quote :- "Perhaps 2 Special Ed. were to be brought out blue Margam7 & grey RB2 but maybe PS7 & CM7" if you get my drift

My money is on a 'PS6' - Obviously Petter's initials and '6' for Subaru's 6th world championship (3 manufacturers and now 3 drivers).

How about a Prodrive version of the Spec C with semi active suspension....

With any luck they'll do them in red or some other unique to UK colour. The UK300 was a joke, being soo easy to ape with a standard WRX and off-the-shelf parts. Bring back the days if the Catalunya, Terzo and RB5, when the car *really* looked special...oh and the 22B Type UK
