Hehe agreed with Jonny. But may I add, an STI or a type RA.
edit: After that they go back to a normal scoob because of crippling fuel price.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

with a TD 5door for the daily grind, natch![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Both together cheaper to run than the scoob

The RX8 was tempting... ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But not for long. I'd have to spend nearly £17k to swap the Scoob for one, and the grin factor just wasn't £17k bigger!!
The RX8 is very good looking, comfortable, refined, plenty of toys... Just not what I'm looking for at the moment - guess I'm not ready for my pipe and slippers yet![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
On the other hand, I could have BOTH![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

(And be extremely poor for the next 3 years - as both cars drink fuel like fish)

An ice cream van or cab due to the fact that they have spent an arm and a leg on modifications/petrol/insurance & speeding tickets.
For the N4S people who have lots of money they tend to go for a different impreza model, or move to the dark side buying evo's & skylines, nothing wrong in that!!
For me providing I've still got money I'll buy my 3rd impreza in years to come as for the money you get a family car that is very quick, A car that you can drive in every weather condition due to it's AWD system, The sweet sound of a flat 4 burble, The rally history, the vast friendly community, The respect on the road, The aftermarked support in terms of modifcations, what more could I wish for !!! , well actually there is one little issue, me thinks that subaru need to address and that's the interior, yes leather & swade seats as standard would be nice along with a tad more bhp to cator for the extra weight factor. Oh and what about a rear wiper.
I'll stop there.

4.0 litre Jeep Automatic !!??!!
Scoob is going back to the finance company tomorrow slightly earlier than it should have done as i am not willing to pay the stupidly inflated insurance premium. For what it would have cost me to insure a standard 52 plate WRX (UK) I have bought and insured the Jeep. Also gives me somewhere to put the dog and all the other stuff that used to just get thrown about in the back of the scoob.
I will be back though but in the near future I am building a ZX9R engined caterham style kit car for the track.
Heres hoping the Spec C prices come down to my level soon.

he he 1989 Vee dub Golf Gti 8 v!!
Bought this as my second runner for 1400. And have spent in excess of 2500 on repairs and maintenance in last 1.5 years. Entire suspension and brake setups changes (oh not modded just replaced with fairly standard items except Bilstein 35mm dropped struts)
Engine blew and was replaced with a second hand item. Only yesterday replaced water pump and had camber and allignment carried out.
Jobs still to do!! power steering pump, gear linkages, transmission oil seal
BUT - spending the money is a breeze compared to running a scoob for 3 years!!

A house
And an Ibiza TDi Sport - priorities change and I don't regret it one bit (especially when it comes round to insurance time in January!)

1989 Honda Integra
1990 Honda CRX
1992 Nissan 200 SX
1997 Lotus Esprit NA
1999 Impreza MY97
2003 Impreza MY00
Could be an MY03 next, better than the bugeye, but I still prefer the Classic.
