Can this wing be swopped for a WRX one without a problem?

 

Not without a new boot lid, as the STi8 wing has extra bolts securing it to the boot, which would be exposed if you fitted a WRX wing.

Why don't you request a direct swop? Your bootlid and spoiler for a bootlid and spoiler off a WRX? Would need to be the same colour though!

Don't know whether there would be issues with matching the colours matching though.
